That's an interesting point about how the Jedi Order's excessive control over their members leading to said members going Dark Side. I certainly think Anakin's decision to marry Padme was at least partially about his desire to reassert a certain degree of control over his life. This might also be a good time to talk about Barriss. By her own admission, she committed an act of terrorism because she felt the Jedi were headed in the wrong direction and she had no other way to make the Council listen.
The problem is, outside of Anakin, Barriss, Krell, and the Inquisitor, we really don't see a lot of Jedi Falling. Although, on the other hand, the existence of the Citadel, a large prison meant for containing Fallen Jedi would certainly indicate that it was an issue. I really wish canon had given us more Fallen Jedi and done more to explain their trajectory.
