Dear Hurt/Comfort Exchange writer,

Thank you for agreeing to write a story for me. I’m sure it will be great. Since you probably don’t know me, I guess I should tell you a little bit about my likes/dislikes.

Likes: I usually prefer gen, especially focusing on platonic and familial relationships. I’m interested in found families, biological families, younger siblings, sidekicks, clones with identity issues, friends who become lovers and friends who don’t. I like crossovers and aus which reveal interesting aspects of the characters. I enjoy outsider POVs, unreliable narrators, and women being well rounded human beings. I enjoy a good character study and have serious respect for stories with actual plot since that’s something I tend to struggle with. I'd prefer something heavier on the comfort than the hurt, but the story doesn't need a purely happy ending. The thing I am really looking for is a nice kick in the feels.

Dislikes: I am not into romantic plots and tropes, or graphic sex. I’m not a fan of alternate setting aus and I don’t really get a/b/o. I have a huge embarrassment/humiliation squick and have issues with infidelity, so please avoid those.

Do not want: Smut, graphic depictions of sex or bodily harm, sex 'fixing' a character, incest, mentor/student sexual relationships, character bashing

The Dragon Prince

I'm all about Team Dragon Egg and am up for something from either season or speculation of things to come. Back in season one I was struck be the scene where Callum's voice was stolen and would love to see something more with that. Other possible ideas to explore include Rayla's guilt/grief over her team, Ralya learning what happened to her parents, the boys dealing with their grief over their dad, Callum and Rayla running into trouble on the way to deliver Zym, Ezran and the pressures of being king.

Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse

I loved this movie. I loved Miles and Gwen and burned-out Millennial Peter. I loved Mile's relationship with his family and wish we'd gotten more with his mother. I'd love some more spider mentoring. I'd love Gwen dealing with her Peter-related grief/guilt and Peter dealing with his depression. I'd love Miles and his family in the aftermath of Aaron's death and especially love anything where his parents find out he's Spiderman.

Young Justice

The original team is my jam, so feel free to include any of the season one crew, even if they aren't on this list. Bart Allen is my favorite season two character and I am endlessly fascinated by the potential of his barely fleshed out yet obviously troubled backstory and the fact that a not insignificant portion of his behavior in season two is a carefully constructed act. I ship him and Jaime, but I'd prefer you keep it PG since they're both under age. Ditto for teen-age Supermartian and Spitfire. For the season one crew, I'm up for the aftermath of a mission from the show or a whole new adventure where things go sideways. For Bart and Jaime, anything having to do with Bart's past or Jaime's time on-mode would do.

Just marathoned this show over the weekned and I loved all the messed-up family dynamics at work. Klaus and Five are my favorite, but I'd prefer you not bash any of the siblings. I'd like something where characters acknowledge each other's existing trauma. Klaus and Five bonding over shitty time travel. Diego and Klaus bonding over their lost loves. Everyone adjusting to being kids again. Five learning how to be a person again in a world where they stop the apocalypse. Klaus and Ben's ghost and all that.
