I had a lot of issues with the way Bolin's relationship with Eska was written back in season 2 of Korra. Like, it was clearly abusive and he was clearly terrified, but it was played for laughs. Because female on male abuse is funny. Because women can't really be a threat. Yeah. Anyway, this was me trying to work out some of my Bolin-related issues without getting too preachy about it.
